The Essex Junior Chess Association apologises for this website being unavailable over recent weeks for technical reasons which proved much longer to resolve than we expected!!

Grand Prix 3 was held in Southend on 19 January 2019 and attracted 65 entries.  The results were as follows –

Grand Prix 4 will take place on Saturday 4th May in Colchester

The Southend Chess Congress takes place again over Easter.  There are a range of graded sections and this is a good opportunity for Essex juniors to play a standard time limit event where they may be playing adults as well as juniors.  Full details are available via this link http://www.southendchesscongress.org.uk/
