While the Grand Prix was taking place in Basildon, congratulations to Adam Taylor, Daniel Gallagher and Aditya Verma who were taking part for their respective teams in the National Team Event – the Four Nations Chess League.

At a more local level, any juniors who are keen to play for the County Senior teams at under 120 or under 100 level may contact Malcolm Crane for further details malcolmcrane@gmail.com

In the event of any clash of fixtures the Essex u14 Match Captain requests that juniors give priority to his team as compared to all the other counties we play we appear to have far fewer players to choose from.
